Welcome to the Racial Equity and Marginalized Populations lab!
In our lab, we study how family relationships and broader social and cultural contexts shape development across the lifespan. Using a developmental psychology lens, we examine how these factors influence psychological, social, and health outcomes.
Our work centers on marginalized individuals and families, including those who experience stigma or “othering.” We are especially interested in issues of racial equity and social justice, with a focus on both the challenges families face and the strengths and resilience they bring to their everyday lives.
This site highlights our current projects, lab members, and opportunities for students and collaborators to get involved.
Thank you for visiting!
